MLB Pitch Hit & Run Champs

Congratulations to the 2023 MLB Pitch Hit and Run winners from Ridgewood! RBSA held its local Pitch Hit and Run contest on June 3, 2023. Athletes competed in 3 events and scores were tallied to determine winners in each age group. Each year, after the results of all local events are submitted and evaluated by Major League Baseball, winners are eligible to compete in a Major League ballpark.

Our local winners are: Softball 7/8: Elisa Salerno. Baseball 7/8: Caleb Sidorov, Softball 9/10: Willow Geraghty, Baseball 9/10: Shaan Heltzel, Softball 11/12: Amelia Salerno, Baseball 11/12: Jack Pietragallo, Softball 13/14: Caroline Amorosa, Baseball 13/14: Max Park

RBSA Alumni College Spotlight

CMU Student-Athlete of the Week: Kiera Boucher - Softball

In a weekend that senior Kiera Boucher collected her 100th career hit, the senior also led the Tartans to a 2-2 series against Brandeis by hitting .583 with a slugging percentage of 1.083. As the Tartans' leadoff hitter, Boucher recorded two bunt singles in game one to reach 100 career hits. She then hit a home run, her third of the season in game two.
